My name is Mark O'Russa. I was born and raised in Spokane, WA and still love it here.

I've been involved in audio production since I was in high school, running sound for school events and the school choir. After learning the bass guitar in my senior year I played in a few bands and learned how to use Pro Tools with a desire to record music. In 2001 I earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree as an Electronics Engineering Technician from Spokane Community College. I decided the electronics industry wasn't for me, however.

With some luck and the help of friends, I became involved in location audio. What a unique occupation it is! Though the fundamentals are the same, the equipment and techniques are very different from live sound and studio recording. I've met many talented and supportive people in the production industry. It's a lot of fun to see professionals at work making the movie or commercial I'll watch a short time later. I learn something every day I work and I'm glad to be a part of it.
